Earlier today we redesigned the map for short-term rental comps. The same map now opens when you pull sale and rent comps in the long-term rental, BRRRR, fix-and-flip, multifamily and new-construction analyzers.
Prices you can read
Each sold home shows its sale price on a tag, such as $418k. Switch the map to Rent and each rental shows its monthly rent. A black tag means that comp is at or above the median of your comps, and a white tag means it is below. When tags would overlap, the comps that match your property best keep their tag and the rest become dots. Zoom in to see more tags.
Rings that fit your area
Sale and rent comps usually sit much closer to the property than short-term rentals do. So the rings scale to how far your comps reach, for example half a mile, one mile and a mile and a half, instead of always marking one, two and three miles.
Excluded comps stay on the map
If you untick a comp in the table to leave it out of your estimate, it stays on the map as a faded grey dot. It no longer counts toward the median, so the black and white split updates to match the comps you kept.
